YGG’s Sushi Onsen Rewards Update

In July 2021, following YGG’s successful token launch, the guild announced its 2x rewards program for YGG token holders on SushiSwap’s Onsen liquidity pool. By providing liquidity for the platform’s YGG/ETH pair, token holders can receive rewards in the form of SUSHI and YGG tokens, that are distributed relative to the total amount of YGG/ETH liquidity pool tokens staked.

After 15 months of providing additional rewards to the liquidity pool, YGG will be ending the program to focus on accelerating its own community initiatives, including the Guild Advancement Program (GAP), which is YGG’s achievement-driven community token distribution protocol, and the YGG Reward Vaults, a YGG token staking program that provide the YGG community with exposure to YGG’s game partners.

As the 2x rewards program is approaching its end date, YGG is giving liquidity providers a final opportunity to earn YGG token rewards on Onsen. A total of 10,580 YGG tokens will be allocated daily, with the 2x rewards ending on 2 January, 2023.

After the rewards program ends, over 3.9 million YGG tokens will have been distributed to stakers, as a reward for participating in the Onsen liquidity pool, Sushi’s special rewards program.

YGG is always looking to provide ways for the community to utilize idle assets and will continue to introduce more programs that reward active token holders and guild participants in innovative ways.

NOTE: For participants in the YGG/ETH staking pool prior to October 13, 2022 any unclaimed rewards are now available via the YGG platform rather than via the Sushi platform as we have transitioned to a new rewards contract. See “Claim 2x Sushi Onsen Rewards Pre-October 13”.
